Kristy began her career in the health industry working in the not-for-profit healthcare sector after graduating from Texas A&M University. In her role as mom, she learned about alternative approaches to healthcare. Her daughter suffered from eczema and fatigue. After multiple tests, medical doctors were unable to find the cause, so Kristy pursued other avenues for help. Her daughter recovered through the power of nutrition.
A few years later, the physical pain Kristy herself had been feeling for years became much worse. Healthcare providers mentioned conditions such as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. Kristy studied alternative approaches to combat FM/CFS. She designed a protocol and experienced a drastic reduction in pain and fatigue. The improvement was so significant, she was able to earn a master’s degree in holistic nutrition, rear her children and work full time, even as a single mother. This recovery fuels her passion to help others find their own paths to recovery.
Kristy’s insatiable desire for knowledge led her first to become a Certified Health Coach through the Dr. Sear’s Wellness Institute founded by world-renowned physician and author, Dr. William Sears. Kristy continued her education by pursuing a Master of Holistic Nutrition degree from Hawthorn University, where she graduated with highest honors.
Since graduating, Kristy has been certified in Functional Medical Nutrition Therapy, Culinary Genomics and Epigenetic Nutrition and is currently working toward a Heart Math Certification.
Kristy is board-certified in Holistic Nutrition through the Holistic Nutrition Credentialing Board.
